Options include a reception layout, where guests can mill about and enjoy beverages or light refreshments, or a banquet arrangement, where guests are seated at round tables and served an elegant meal. After the event, guests can relax with a handcrafted cocktail and good company at The Bistro, the hotel’s on-site restaurant.
For smaller events, Residence Inn by Marriott offers a 500-square-foot event space that can seat up to 24 guests in a chic, modern setting. Host a birthday party or bridal shower where guests can sample tasty hor d'oeuvres, sip on champagne, enjoy a sit-down dinner, or both. After the fun has ended, guests who stay overnight at the hotel are treated to a fresh, complimentary breakfast buffet.
If you’re planning an event for between 25 to 150 people, another first-rate option is Embassy Suites by Hilton Newark Airport. The hotel has five different state-of-the-art event spaces to choose from based on the size of the event. Another option is the Hilton Newark Airport, featuring a vast number of rooms for hosting events of all sizes. Its largest space is the Elizabeth Ballroom, which is big enough for receptions of 400 people. And for even larger events, Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel is the perfect venue. The hotel’s dazzling Grand Ballroom can accommodate an incredible 750 people and an in-house catering team is available to create custom menus.

You can combine a historic setting with a classic good time at the Liberty Hall Museum. The beautiful gardens and centuries-old architecture are ideal for picture-perfect weddings, but the mansion also hosts children’s birthday parties as well as tea parties suitable for baby showers or bridal showers.
